The Carleton Campus Conservatives organization is a student-run political club at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. We support the Conservative Party of Canada at the federal level, and we are members of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario and the Ontario Progressive Conservative Campus Association at the provincial level.
We seek to engage young conservatives at the campus level as volunteers and activists, and facilitate their involvement within the political process. We also promote the use of conservative ideas and principles on the Carleton campus. Last but not least, we all like to get together and have a good time!
One of the strongest clubs in OPCCA, we run an extensive volunteer program with several Parliament Hill offices, and allow students to gain valuable work experience in a political environment. We also provide extensive support to the provincial party, and often travel to the GTA to help the conservative cause! We worked extremely hard during the Conservative elections in 2006 and 2008, and are currently working hard to elect Tim Hudak and the PC Party of Ontario in 2011!
It’s a nice change of scenery to actually see some conservative representation on campus. Keep it up guys!
